Like many artistically inclined youngsters, I got my start in the world of art by faithfully copying cartoon characters I saw in the Sunday Funny papers.  In 1995, after winning a cartoon competition sponsored by the Burlington Free Press, I launched my political cartoon strip MR. BRUNELLE EXPLAINS IT ALL.  It ran for a decade in the Vermont Times newspaper, and is currently featured on the Black Line Comics website www.blacklinecomics.com.  It has appeared in Comic News magazine, and is often featured the humor magazine Funny Times.  To inquire about using my cartoons in your venue, email me at brunelles3@aol.com   Below a few examples...

Every October I participate in the international cartooning event called "24 HOURS-24 PAGES", in which cartoonists all over the world stay up all night to produce 24 pages of comics in just 24 hours.  Below is the finalized version of the comic book I created at the 2008 event.
